What's a Valuation Day?

If you'd like your item appraised and valued by us in person, and you can't make it to Royal Tunbridge Wells, come to one of our free valuation days. These are events where you can bring your item to show it to one of our professional valuers. We'll then tell you about the item and give you a valuation. Please note that before you visit a valuation day, you’ll need to arrange an appointment. If you are registered with us you can do this via your My Appointments on this website, or else by telephoning us, emailing us at admin@markhillauctions.com or by filling in the form on our Contact Us page.

Details of our upcoming valuation days will be shared on our website below and via social media on X and Instagram.

What do I need to bring to a Valuation Day?

Apart from a prebooked appointment (see above), and the item itself, don't forget to bring any paperwork, such as certificates, and original packaging that accompany the item(s). Don't forget to pack it safely and securely too!

What if the item is too large or heavy to bring, or if there are too many of them?

We can arrange to visit a nearby property for large items and collections, please Contact Us with details. If you don't live nearby, then please fill in an Online Valuation Request.
